so i wake up in the morn, wi-fi network was not working. It didn't work all day. A minor adjustment overlooked resulting in a day without internet. This is when you realise the dependence on technology.
A day very similar to the ones before computers and internet... Spent it doing a lot of random things. Accomplished the following in no particular order...
- read my engineering college's magazine that was published last year i.e. early 2007
- read half of 'Simplicity' by Edward de Bono
- played guitar... I am learning to play bass but don't have a bass guitar so played my old acoustic
- cleaned my room... Every nook and corner
- listened to a lot of music
- drank a lot of 'minute maid's pulpy orange'
- drank a lot of coffee... Made it myself after ages!
- conceptualised a video for my band 'Silent Lucidity' s song 'Eclipse'
- worked out
- relaxed
- slept enough
- got bored for a while
- spent time chatting on the phone
Well now my net is working... And i have blogged. Will read a bit more... Have my dinner and hit the sack... Work tomorrow...

Five againt one. The Peal Jam Story - Kim Neely - The story of one of the worlds greatest rock band, Pearl Jam. A must read if you are a fan of the band, otherwise read it for the interesting personalities that make up the band. An account of the early days of the band, its members, thier music and life in the band.
From Beirut to Jerusalem - Thomas L. Friedman - The author's journey from Beirut to Jerusalem through the middle east crisis. If you want to learn about and experience the life in the middle east, if you know nothing about it read this book. An excellent account weaved around personal experiences, thoughts, self examination and reality.
Maximum City - Suketu Mehta - A book about Bombay (now Mumbai). This one talks about the dark side, the under belly, the Bombay we all know exists but ignore in our day to day lives in the city. A take on the city from a resident who left it in his childhood years to return in adulthood to rediscover and re-experience the city but this time with an authors mind.
The White Tiger - Aravind Adiga - A must read work of fiction. Deservedly won the booker prize.
A Whole New Mind - Daniel Pink - Why right brainers will rule the world in the future. If you are a creative or interested do read this book for an insight into the creative brain!
